Mindray's DC-70 ultrasound system is one of Mindray's most advanced ultrasound units available on the market. Adored by diagnosticians, respected by engineers and technicians, and simple to explain to patients, this unit is particularly special. There are many a reason why the DC-70 is so revered; imaging enhancing technology, a multitude of compatible probes / transducers (including single crystal and ComboWave probes) and specialized OB-GYN and women's health applications.

Some of the technology that Mindray has incorporated into this system is the most advanced that they have available. This includes X-engine (to speed up image processing up to 3X the average time), iLive with Hyaline (which provides more clear 3D/4D (live 3D) images than ever before), Smart Planes CNS (enhanced imaging for fetal Central Nervous System), and more.

The imaging technology behind the new available ultrasound probes is staggering. The DC-70 is compatible with single crystal probes - special transducers that implement 3T (Triple-matching layers, Total-cut design, Thermal control) technology to enhance OB-GYN and cardiac ultrasound imaging.. ComboWave transducers, on the other hand, use a new special material to enhance acoustic quality and prevent impediments that occur through echoes. This results in higher quality imaging for small parts (thyroid, breast) and Vascular applications.

Many of the ultrasound transducers that are compatible with many of the probes that also work with the Mindray DC-8 ultrasound system. This makes it easy to rotate between ultrasound units without having to purchase new expensive transducers. The process is easy and fluid.
