In industrial control applications, small switches called jumper caps, also known as short-circuit caps or short-circuit rings, are commonly used.

Its function is to switch the input signal type when there are many jumper pins on the motherboard, by attaching the jumper cap to the corresponding jumper pin and turning it on.
