Product Overview

SS420 thermal spray wire is a high-carbon martensitic stainless steel wire designed for thermal spray applications. Equivalent to Tafa 60T, this material provides excellent wear resistance, abrasion resistance, and moderate corrosion protection.

SS420 coatings form a hard, dense metallic layer that is commonly used in restoration and protection of components exposed to sliding wear, particle erosion, and mild corrosive environments. It is widely used in industrial refurbishment, hydraulic systems, pulp & paper machinery, and more.
