Super Duplex steel S32750 is designed for extreme performance in extremely corrosive environments. Its high chromium, molybdenum, and nitrogen chemical composition results in a Pitting Resistance Equivalent Number (PREN) exceeding 40, giving it unparalleled resistance to localized corrosion. In high-chloride environments such as warm seawater, S32750 is virtually immune to stress corrosion cracking (SCC). Its comprehensive corrosion resistance far exceeds that of standard duplex steels and most austenitic stainless steels, making it the solution for the ultimate corrosion challenges.
