2S160-15 solenoid valve is a two position two way , the structure of which is mainly composed of a pilot valve and a main valve, and the main valve adopts a rubber sealing structure. This 220V AC Stainless Steel electric solenoid valve easily replaces broken valves for use with water, air, and gas.
ALL standard valves are supplied with Continuous Duty Coils of the
proper class of insulation for the service indicated on the valve.
It is normal for the coil temperature may become hot after being
energized for extended periods. Smoke or burning odor indicates
excessive coil temperature and the power should be disconnected to
the coil immediately.

Working principle:
When the coil is energized, the pilot spool is closed, the pilot
hole is opened, the upper chamber of the valve is relieved, the
piston is pushed by the medium pressure of the lower chamber, and
the solenoid valve is opened.
When the coil is de-energized, the pilot spool is reset by the
spring, the pilot hole is closed, the upper chamber of the valve is
pressurized by the piston orifice and the thrust of the return
spring, and the solenoid valve is closed.
How To Choose The Right Seal Of Solenoid Valve:
Nitrile Rubber - Nitrile rubber has a high chemical resistance, making it ideal
for seals in valves used to regulate oils and petroleum. NBR also
has great abrasion resistance. It does not handle oxidizing media
well, however.
NBR is most commonly used in applications involving water, air,
oils, and gases. It is ill-suited for chlorinated hydrocarbons,
ethers and esters, as well as methyl ethyl ketone and ozone
acetone. It is much cheaper than FKM/FFKM.
VITON, a fluorine-containing rubber in the molecule, has various types depending on the fluorine content, that is, the monomer structure. The high temperature resistance is superior to that of silicone rubber. Chemical resistance, most oils and solvents (except ketones and esters), good weather resistance and ozone resistance, but poor cold resistance; temperature range -20 ° C ~ 260 ° C, low temperature requirements for low temperature resistance. The type can be used up to -40 ° C, the price is higher.
