Product Description

Boiler headers, or boiler manifolds are designed to simplify piping near the boiler, reduce installation time, labor costs and parts used. Available in various branch options with threaded inlet and outlet connections. For closed loop heating applications only.

The pressures and temperatures that headers have to withstand depend on the component to which they are connected. A header connected to an economizer or to water wall panels is subject to less severe requirements on the material than a header connected to superheaters or reheaters.

It is in accordance with the requirements that welding a certain length of round steel at the surface of the light pipe, then the refractory coating can be firmly laid on the water wall by using of pins.

1Headers form an important part of all types of boilers.
2Steam from the generating tubes is collected in headers which are therefore always under pressure.
3This pressure may vary from 300 psi to 2000 psi. Since headers are always under pressure, the utmost care is taken by us while fabricating them.
4Depending on the generating capacity of the boiler the header sizes fabricated by us vary from 100 mm to 600 mm NB. The stubs of various sizes are very carefully welded to the main body of the header to provide the desired openings from the header.

1In manufacturing, the key of end cover hinder is welding.
2Since by manual arc welding, the weld joint is single-side welding without quality guarantee at the ends.
3In addition, due to large welding workload, frequent return for repair and long working period, it became the throat process of the whole hinder production.
4When making hinders of the style, we adopt advanced production technique, complete large equipment and mature technology, especially automatic submerged arc welding between hinders and end covers.

Details


1The necking hinders of the Company are made by hot press and retracting of seamless steel pipes at special hinder necking machine.
2In this way, the hinders will have thicker walls and cleaner surface. The necking cover will form membrane stress rather than bending stress with desired stress performance under the effect of inner pressure.

1.The full penetration tube to header weld is also a common joint style,particularly in superheaters and regeaters.

2.The full penetration(full tube wall thickness)is accomplished by either a straight tube bore with the tube saddled on to the header or by spot face machining of the header to allowing more of a butt weld configuration.
