Coating line process is divided into: pretreatment, powder spraying
coating, heating curing. To manage this process, we need to pay
attention to the following points:
(1) Production management of pretreatment section of coating line

The pretreatment includes manual simple process and automatic
pretreatment process, and the latter is divided into automatic
spraying process and automatic soaking spraying process. The
surface of the workpiece must be treated to remove oil and rust
before powder spraying. In this section, there are more liquid
used, mainly rust remover, degreaser, surface conditioner,
phosphating agent and so on.
In the pretreatment section or workshop of the coating production
line, the first thing to pay attention to is to formulate the
necessary purchase, transportation, storage and use system of
strong acid and alkali, provide the workers with the necessary
protective clothing, safe and reliable loading, handling and
configuration of equipment, and formulate the emergency treatment
measures and rescue measures in case of accidents. Secondly, in the
pre-treatment section of the coating production line, due to the
existence of a certain amount of waste gas, waste liquid and other
three waste materials, so in terms of environmental protection
measures, it is necessary to configure air extraction and exhaust,
liquid discharge and three waste treatment devices.
Due to the different process flow of pretreatment solution and
coating production line, the quality of pre-treated workpiece
should be different. The oil and rust on the surface of the
workpiece with better treatment shall be removed completely. In
order to prevent the re rusting in a short time, phosphating or
passivation treatment shall be carried out in several processes
after the pretreatment. Before powder spraying, the phosphated
workpiece shall be dried to remove the surface moisture. Small
batch single piece production, generally using natural air drying,
sun drying, air drying. For mass production, low-temperature
drying, oven or drying channel are generally adopted.
(2) Organization and production of powder spraying coating
For small batch of workpieces, manual powder spraying device is
generally adopted, while for large batch of workpieces, manual or
automatic powder spraying device is generally adopted. Whether it
is manual or automatic powder spraying, quality control is very
important. It is necessary to ensure that the powder of the sprayed
workpiece is uniform and the thickness is consistent, and to
prevent the defects such as thin spraying, missed spraying and
rubbing off.
In the process of coating production line, attention should also be
paid to the hook part of the workpiece. Before entering the curing
process, the powder attached to the hook should be blown off as
much as possible to prevent the excess powder on the hook from
curing. When it is difficult to remove the excess powder before
curing, the solidified powder film on the hook should be stripped
in time to ensure good conductivity of the hook, so as to
facilitate the next batch of workpieces to be powdered easily.
(3) Production management of curing process in coating line
This process should pay attention to the following: spray good
workpiece, if it is a small batch of single piece production,
before entering the curing furnace, pay attention to prevent the
powder from falling, if there is powder phenomenon, should timely
spray powder. When baking, strictly control the process,
temperature and time, and pay attention to prevent insufficient
curing caused by color difference, over baking or short time.
For large quantities of automatic conveying workpieces, it is also
necessary to carefully check whether there is leakage, thin
spraying or local dusting before entering the drying channel. If
unqualified workpieces are found, it is necessary to prevent them
from entering the drying channel and remove them for re spraying as
far as possible. If individual workpiece is unqualified due to thin
spray, it can be re sprayed and re solidified after curing out of
the drying channel.
