Carton flow racking system is an efficient and flexible storage solution that is able to transport stored items to the pick up face without interruption. You can also easily adjust shelves and wheels to ensure the effective movement of all sized goods.

The carton flow racking system is flexible enough to allow changes and development of the warehouse layout, thanks to the fact that it can be built as a fixed unit or provided with lockable wheels. When to choose carton flow racking system?

In general, fast-moving products are picked directly from pallets, while slow-moving products belong to storage systems such as static racks. Carton flow systems and carton flow racks are suitable for the intermediate range of product movements.

As a rule of thumb, products suitable for carton flow are picked at least once a week, but no more than half a pallet of boxes in the same week.

Carton flow racks greatly increase the efficiency of the warehouse by automatically organizing products and automatically turning stock. Long, straight dedicated lanes keep products organized and reduce labor costs. By reducing floor space by 22%, storage space can be increased by up to 60%, thus reducing building costs.

Typically, carton flow racking systems use about half the floor space that standard pallet racking does and the difference can be more dramatic with a multi-level system. The simplicity of a gravity-driven system requires less capital than an easy-to-maintain automated system.

Rear loading front picking helps with worker traffic flow and promotes a more efficient layout. Carton and case flow to the front picking aisle helps alleviate concerns about order fulfilment in e-commerce facilities and large distribution centres or multi-level picking modules.
