Description

Gigaopto’s GTX-SGTA2-20DCC XGPON OLT Transceiver Module is designed for the optical line terminal (OLT) of XGPON Applications with 9.953Gbps in downstream and 2.488Gbps in upstream. It is a high performance module for single fiber communications by using 1577 continuous-mode transmitter and 1270nm burst-mode receiver.

The transmitter section employs an EML 1577nm laser and is a class 1 laser compliant according to International Safety Standard IEC-60825-1. The receiver section employs an integrated 1270nm detector preamplifier (IDP) mounted in an optical header and a limiting post-amplifier IC.

It adopts XFP Package with SC/UPC receptacle connector. Power supply is single +3.3 Voltage.

Digital diagnostics functions are available, as specified in SFF-8472,which provides real-time monitoring of the transceiver temperature, laser bias current, optical power, received optical power and transceiver supply voltage.
