Stainless Steel AISI304 Plain Dutch Weave Filter Wire Mesh
Type AISI304 is the basic stainless steel alloy and is often called
18-8(18% chromium, 8% nickel). Normally, it withstands outdoor
exposure without rusting and resists oxidation at 1400
temperatures, except in those areas nearby the sea. This alloy is
principally used with food products, chemicals, and pharmaceuticals
due to its corrosion resistance, moisture-proof and
non-contaminating characteristics. Where no specific stainless
grade is specified, it is assumed that type AISI304 is accepted.
PLAIN DUTCH WEAVE. Warp wires are larger than weft wires. Weft wires are closely spaced to provide a dense weave with wedge-shaped openings. Plain Dutch Weaves can handle high flowing rates with relatively lower pressure. They are woven with each warp and weft wire passing over and under one wire. The weft wires, however, are smaller in diameter than the warp wires and they are driven closer together to create a dense weave. This weave produces a strong filter cloth with good flowing rates which makes it suitable for high-pressure filtration.
Here are some very common specifications of the plain dutch weave
for your reference.
Other specifications and sizes are made to order. Please contact
our sales team to discuss this.
