Brazil ANATEL certification
Certification introduction
Brazilian ANATEL certification is for telecommunications products.
All telecommunications products and accessories must obtain ANATEL
certification before they can be legally commercialized and used in
Brazil.
ANATEL certification is divided into two types: mandatory and
voluntary certification. The approval process is the same for
domestic and foreign products. If a product is subject to
compulsory certification, the product's test results and reports
must be consistent with the rules and regulations adopted by
ANATEL. The product must obtain an authorization certificate issued
by ANATEL before being put into use.
