Identification Mark Of Fiber Optic Patch Cord And Fiber Optic Pigtail

There are many identifying way for patch cord and pigtail. As for SC and LC connector, we can know blue housing is for single mode, beige color is for multi mode, green is for APC and aqua is for OM3.

We also distinguish the duplex connector via boots with different color, white and blue boot is always for SM, red and black boot is for MM and green boot is always for APC.

As for some type do not distinguish via boot, Fiberall provide number ring ( with number 1 ,2 ) or letter ring ( with letter A, B) , cable mark label or color shrinkable tube on the cable for identification.

As for 2.0mm and 3.0mm cable, yellow color is always for single mode, orange color is for multi mode and aqua is for OM3. But for 0.9mm, yellow and white is for SM and orange is for MM. But the color is not changeless, buyer can order other color like blue, green, brown, gray, red, black, purple, pink, aqua and so on.
